DESIGN:

The website is found to be too clustered with information and might be hard to navigate around for first-time users. I had to use the site map quite a number of times to get to the page I want. On the other hand, it has a search tool that allows users to search for flights, hotels and packages.

STRENGTHS:

ZUJI provides detailed information.

A simple search using the search toolbar returned with results showing:

Photobucket

- A comparison table of cheapest flights available by airline
- Results that could be sorted by: Price, Airline, Schedule
- Detailed price per adult inclusive of taxes and fees
- Travel time and dates

Some of these information are not provided by many other competitors in this industry.

ZUJI prides itself as bringing the latest online travel technology and tools to travellers in Asia Pacific, in order to make it simple, safe and easy for travellers to plan and book a great value trip online, in real-time, and with the knowledge that their global business is behind customers every step of the way.

They bring a choice of more than 400 airlines, 60,000 hotels, and thousands of car hire, activities, attractions as well as travel insurance to travellers.

WEAKNESSES:

A search on google revealed some negative feedbacks posted on http://www.coolcomputing.com/d/zuji.html, where they invite reviews and testimonials on ZUJI. The gist of the reviews is that ZUJI had very bad customer service and support.

According to the reviews, the customer service hotline is always busy and that problems related to bookings made (such as scheduled flights are pushed back to a later date) was only informed in the last minute, leaving travellers with limited time to make amendments.

Travellers also pointed out that the bargains/deals offered by ZUJI are not real bargains. It is merely a "marketing technique" employed by ZUJI to attract customers to take up the deal.

Protecting Customers' information

ZUJI secure server software encrypts all of customers' personal information, including credit card information. The process of encryption takes the information that was entered and converts it into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the Internet. This scrambled data cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

ZUJI takes the responsibility of protecting customers' credit card information very seriously. In addition to implementing highly secure online protection methods, ZUJI also has a dedicated risk-management team who regularly and randomly counter-check credit card purchases made on ZUJI to ensure their authenticity, and verify that credit cards have not been used for making unauthorised purchases. At times, phone contact is made with ZUJI customers as part of this process.

ZUJI seek customers' cooperation and ask that they provide ZUJI with a valid contact phone number to enable immediate contactability and verifications, as the cardholder, have approved the ZUJI transaction; or alert if there is any possibility that customers' card may have been used by a third party if inconsistencies arise.
